Now I am a way to go SF riding Delta..still feeling complexblity for going the event.because I much wondering what Oracle going on for the Developers, especially for opensource developers like me.And some of my friends, who are the famous Sun’s developer, didnt make it the event because they didn’t work well keeping in touch with Oracle, that’s so sorry.. In my case Terada-san,who is the famous Java Evangelist in Oracle Japan kindly gave me the ticket for JavaOne but I couldnt get OOW because I didnt work well keeping in touch as many of my friends..

JavaOne is ‘still’ great event much more developer all over the world getting together in one place,San Francisco.and there are additional events held by attendees (nomikai or user meetings),is much more fun than main ‘sessions’.I will attend Solaris Reunion at Joyent,Kani party held by Japanese JavaOne attendees, meetings with Oracle guys..and much more networking event. Looking forward to seeing much more friends, things will be there with feeling complexblity am still feeling asleep drinking wines..next I would wake what would be more complex to me… It takes 2 hours a way on the air.

I sometimes present about SFD (Software Freedom Day)  as a LT in some OSS event in Japan, because we Japanese should share the celebration with FLOSS guys all over the world.I often talk to Kawai-san,who is the member of FLOSS Sakurayama in Nagoya,we should have more events for SFD because OSS events here in Japan getting increased year and year lately and more, there are much more OSS guys all over the world helped us Japanese for recovering from the huge disaster tsunami and quake,we would thank them through sharing the event for SFD.

Today I have heard Kawai-san FLOSS sakurayama will host the event for SFD in Nagoya.I am very happy they host.please stop by to celebrate!

Since Oracle announced Solaris 11 no longer support 32bit kernel,I had to the value of my Eees – changing Ubuntu,Meego is not fun and Android OS is not fixable.by chance I would try CentOS 6 on my Eee N10j to study that and trying to use Xen on it.but it doesnt work on my N10j so I would try Virtualbox on it.

before you tring on Linux, you should add yum.repo for it and set up the vboxdrv kernel module.

#wget -q http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/debian/oracle_vbox.asc -O- | rpm –import -
#wget http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/rpm/rhel/virtualbox.repo
#export KERN_DIR=/usr/src/kernels/$uname -r

and caution you should install with your Terminal  to use KERN_DIR settings.

#yum install virtualbox

*Some of blogs recommends PAE module in rpmforge but perhaps it doesnt need./etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup succeed, you can use virtualbox.

I have been tring many OS on Virualbox on pooor power CPU Atom based PC N10j,only old OS Window XP work good on it.other OSes Ubuntu,Solaris,Oi,Windows 7 work verrrry sloooow we cant use that :( ((

Virtualbox on N10J

XP is still useful in our business because  many companies cant move their XP Desktops to Win7 ones.I will use it for connecting my company environment with F5 virtual desktop.

And it is very useful I can use two OSes on my poor Atom-based PC.

Satoka-san,the founder of Tokyo Girl Geek Dinners, invited their event ‘Nozbe meetup’ CEO Michael-san presenting Nozbe.it is now under development – he already has released iPhone,iPad,Android and MacOS (MacApps) and planning to release Windows.I havent used that but almost there said it worked great.I will try.

It was too long while no attend the social networking event,I was wondering there was several cool guys there (it is for ‘girls’ social networking event :D ) it was very fun to network with them – students, developers, business planners.and they bring some issue for networking .I talked some guys about much issue.they were much important for me.I should note my blog..

The event was held at slowcomedyfactory in Shimokitazawa, whose owner now helping for the refugees in Tohoku.they now selling bumpy cans, whose shells are hit and hit by tsunami.

the can manufacturer Kinoya Ishinomaki Suisan in Tohoku, whose factories were much damaged, doing that for earning to keep employing..some foods, almost we Japanese dare to buy products, drinks made in Tohoku for helping as one of the donations for the refugees.lately we are focusing this helping way because Our Red Cross cant deliver only a few percents of your donations..feel much really sorry for my friends sending it..almost we know our government hasnt been dealing with the disaster, that means, you’ve heard from the news, they are still going on too much late activities.it is a while the disaster has fixed and the refugees getting well doing some activities, they do need money for recovering and cant impatient to our government deals with the disaster.

I have heard from the friend who is from Kamaishi the disaster is getting serious for the refugees.stealing, criminals, commit suicides..has been much increased (mainly in the lands abandoned by the disaster ) and children slave trades now going there (I cant believe that! )… the later our government are dealing with the disaster, the more and more serious the problem is going! I have realized we now facing the problem, how to find the way to have some solutions for the disaster by ourselves,NOT by our governments.

btw we Japanese had another disaster,SONY’s security incidents.my friend told me there were no CISO posts in the company.so they were too bad dealing with the problem..and he also told we Japanese had no time to think of such a problem..we Japanese has now  lower salaries, working a long time in the daytime with the wastes..our life infrastructures should be changed too much toward the disaster…

When I was a child I lived in Horinouchi in Tokyo was small town near the shrine Myohoji.by chance I would go to pray for ‘yakubarai’,means prevent us from some unhappy things.on the way to go there, dropped onto there but I found the town has huge changed..all of my neighbours at that time has gone somewhere and the place I took some butterflies got smaller..not to mention, there are no house I used to live, someone has changed it with an apartment…

I felt taking some pics for that.I found some still there (but changed a bit).

Just a bit sad..now feeling.

I would take my S1000RR back yesterday from 1000km periodic maintenance.I much surprised its fee – was much more expensive than K1200S.I just complained about that to the shop clerks, they referred Oil fee.it is for racing so preventing the engines from the some damages they have to use the highest level Oil for it…uups…it cost me about 17,000 yen…

lately I met some ppl only I know on my faceook, linkedin or twitter.well they were polite, and nice to see them,

Ramiel-san,who asked for repairing her sis’s eee by twitter.I am followed by her she told me she was sure I could repair.by chance I had SSD for eee so I could.we had a bit time to meet her though we always ‘chat’ on out tweet so feel relaxing while fixing.

And last month I met Dubin-san,he now connecting me with linkedin. At first time I thought he would contact because of job careering, but he would keeping in touch with me because we have same hobby, riding motorcycles.and he is interested my blog especially about the posts for the hugh disasters in Tohoku.we are talking about our motorcycle, touring, and this disaster issue.he told me some American misunderstood what was happening here in Japan because of the disaster (he said some said Japanese are facing to dangerous nuke substances around and around!)..so to tell what was the really happening and going there in Tohoku,we are planning to go there with our bikes.he said ppl could do some (donations, help refugees, and so on) so I and he could tell how really they were there to all over the world -we are not about to be dead but not so safe.

lately I trying to contact with my old friend on my facebook.two of my old friends replied to me.well hope to see them.

P.S. Dave-san of Intel,I met last week, wondering twitter is much popular than US.well difficult to say that….

I didn’t know David-san comming here in Japan to present Yocto Project at LinuxCONN here in Japan.I found his activities in his facebook so I rushed to contact with him to meet him – because he rarely comes here though he often goes to China via Narita in Japan.

I met him Sun Tech Day here in 2008 (last Tech Day held in Sun Microsystems) I talked about OSOL on Eee and had a nomi with him.he presented OpenSolaris on intel at that time I have heard really great someone told (I missed his preso because I had to exhibit my Eee ).I checked his youtube videos after the Tech Day,right, really great talking on the video.

I met him Hachiko (wondering he know the dog!) in Shibuya early evening he was great.we got together to go HobGoblin for a beer.we talked about many IT issues, his runnings (he now writing about it on his blog),sightseeing here in Japan.he has been here at six time,he has been to somewhere (Asakusa or some ) in Tokyo.he showed me ‘dummy’ sushis which were sold in Kappabashi.long while no see ‘them’..he took me pics…well I was blushing..

Some nachos with Masafumi Ohta

We talked SandyBridge -intel new systems,Atom processors competing ARM,Intel approach for opensource comparing with Oracle and Google.I dont know Google ask for signinig the agreement on their development on honeycomb (Android 3.x) like closed source.I remembered the agreement for OpenSolaris.now Oracle closed the source you know they suddenly have closed the repo to OSOL developers and still have done.wondering Google going to tight their developments? on the other hand Intel Yocto is all open for developers so is Meego. And just noticed though,he told me we should take care of the temperature of lately intel’s chipset.Intel just have been improving the temperatures of their CPUs but now catching up those of their chipsets.agree last week I check my new PC which is used Intel Core i3-2100T and H67 Chipset, because of using water coolings the one of CPUs always keeeping 30-35 degrees though doing stress test on my PC but the one of chipset getting increased up to 50-60 degrees..he recommeded me using good heat sink for the chipset.and intel focused on Atom as competing with ARM – planning ultra low watts and high speed.and focus on business using – for example using tablets on the factories in some manufacturers.he said OpenSource is need for the development for such customers – they need to customize for the OSes and more for the customer using.so is Meego – it is opened for users and developers.btw he now leading the project of Yocto in Intel.I hope he will be succeed in his project.

We told about the disaster of Onagawa in Tohoku because of the quake and tsunami.I was there last month and told him about that.he said it was like 911 in US.moving companies to other places, lost jobs…he asked how about our government dealing with..was difficult to answer but some is good and some is too bad,you know.I am planning with my American friend Dubin-san to go tohoku in summer to tell how the disasters is ‘really’ like.I will tell about that.

Thanks Dave-san again for cumming ;-) much appreciated seeing you.

Last year I had been in the biggest project in my company.Just yesterday it has been finished…something makes me feel difficulty but got to make a move back to my ordinary business.thanks great works for my colleagues and my customers ;)

It was the ticket ordering system for the biggest company in Japan.there were huge works for the web turning with web.those has conclude much faster in web speeds than used to.

With putting the left eyes on Daruma doll,it has been really finished.the project has changed their focus for the next deal.thanks again guys, hope you win.
